Pain Management

Pain management is always a very important component of our treatment plan for your pet. Pets exhibit pain in different ways. Common indicators of pain include poor mobility, slight whining when laying down or sitting up, decreased appetite, or even snapping at their owners.

Acute pain is a sudden onset of pain usually due to an injury. Our doctors will diagnose your pet and prescribe a treatment plan to address your pet’s pain. Appropriate pain control speeds healing and is an integral part of all of our surgical cases. Many senior pets who suffer from joint disease, arthritis or cancer have chronic pain. This can be controlled through a continuous low dose of pain medication and/or laser therapy. Keeping your pet comfortable throughout the process is our first priority.

We believe in practicing high-quality medicine and spending time getting to know our clients and their special four-legged family members.
